Fused Glass

Columbia, MO

mak-3.jpg

I found glass at the age of 50 and it became a passion immediately. As a self-affirmed non-artist with no formal art education, I was thrown into the art world and found a place for myself. I became active in Best of Missouri Hands, serving two years as President. I continue to serve BOMH as the bookkeeper, member database manager, and web administrator. I am retired from an over 28 year career as an office manager, and then energy analyst at a state-wide agency serving municipal utilities. Upon retirement, I built a 600 sq’ glass studio attached to my home.
