Heather Woodson is a studio artist currently living in Wentzville, Missouri and has taught wheel throwing and sculpture at Chesterfield Arts/Art Unleashed since 2010.
She studied ceramics at St. Charles Community College. Heather has sought out education through workshops and classes with other ceramic artists. She regularly attends the annual NCECA, (National Conference for the Education in Ceramic Arts), to continue her education from current leading ceramic artists from around the world. In 2009, she received a full scholarship from Anderson Ranch Arts Center to study under the Italian, ceramic sculpture artist, Sandro Lorenzini.
Heather has participated in many local and national art exhibits and shows, including, the International Spoon Exhibit at Medalta Museum, Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada and a solo exhibits at the St. Louis Artists Guild and Schmidt Art Gallery. Her work is in many private collections in the United States and Canada.
